Introduction To Turkish Civil Law and Law of Persons Yetkin Yayınları

The first edition of the Introduction to Turkish Civil Law and Law of Persons is published in December 2021.

For the second edition, especially the students who started to use the book expressed their need for cases and answers to the cases. Taking into account this need, we added a case study part at the end of the book.

in Turkey, it is also becoming more important to learn legal English to be able to work with foreign clients and to draft contracts in English. This need has prompted us to write this book. Civil law is formed of five sub-branches together with the first seven articles of the Turkish Civil Code. in this book, we aimed to introduce the basic civil law concepts and to write the basic concepts in the law of persons. We tried to choose the most commonly used vocabulary and the wording used in the English translation of the Swiss Civil Code.
